24/7 Emergency Plumber

A burst supply line or a sewage backup doesn't wait for business hours. Out here in the North Valley, a slab-on-grade leak can flood a home fast. We keep stocked trucks running across Anthem and north Phoenix, so a licensed plumber is headed your way the same hour you call. Day or night, weekend or holiday. You call, we come.

Book onlineOr call, 24/7(623) 473-0555

Same-day on most calls. Upfront pricing before any work.

What it costs: Priced flat-rate by job, not by the hour, so a long night does not become a bigger bill. The dispatch fee is credited toward the repair when you have us do the work. See typical emergency plumbing pricing.

Signs you need emergency plumbing

  • Water pooling on the floor, behind a wall, or around the water heater
  • No water at any fixture, or a sudden drop in pressure
  • Sewage smell or backups coming up through tubs and floor drains
  • A water heater that is leaking, hissing, or has stopped producing hot water
  • A spike in your water bill with no obvious cause (hidden slab leak)

How we handle it

  1. Shut-off & triage

We talk you through killing the main shut-off while we roll, then isolate the failed fixture or line on arrival.

  2. Diagnose on site

Acoustic and thermal tools locate hidden leaks without tearing out drywall blindly.

  3. Stabilize, then repair

We stop the active damage first, give you a flat-rate price, and complete the permanent repair.

What to know about emergency plumbing in Arizona

A true plumbing emergency is the kind that keeps getting worse: water you can't stop, sewage backing up into living space, or no water at all in 110-degree summer heat. The first move isn't calling us. It's the shutoff. Most Phoenix slab homes have a main shutoff at the house wall near the hose bib, or at the meter box near the curb (you'll need a meter key or a crescent wrench for the lid). Knowing where yours is before midnight saves your drywall, your baseboards, and your flooring substrate while we're on the way.

Not everything that feels like an emergency needs after-hours rates. A single dripping faucet, a slow drain, or a running toilet can wait for a normal-hours appointment, and it'll cost you less. What can't wait: a burst supply line under pressure, a water heater spraying or flooding a closet, sewage at a floor drain, or a gas smell near a gas water heater (that one's a call to the gas utility first, then us). We'll tell you honestly on the phone which bucket you're in. We're not going to upsell you a 2 a.m. truck roll you don't need.

Up in the high country, the Flagstaff, Prescott, and Munds Park cabins, emergency season turns to winter. The classic call is a pipe that froze and then thawed. It splits while it's frozen but won't leak until the ice melts and the pressure comes back, and that often happens while you're away from a seasonal cabin. If you find a frozen line, shut the water off before you thaw it, open a faucet to relieve pressure, and never put an open flame on a pipe. Unheated garage walls and exterior hose bibs are where they usually give out.

Hard water makes emergencies down here, quietly, on its own schedule. At 16-20 grains per gallon, scale builds inside valves, supply-line connectors, and water heater tanks until a corroded fitting or a rotted flexible connector lets go all at once. Those braided stainless or plastic-nut supply lines under your toilets and sinks are a known weak point. They're cheap, they age out in 5-8 years in this water, and when they fail they fail big. Swapping out aging connectors before they quit is the cheapest way we know to skip the 2 a.m. call.

Emergency Plumbing, frequently asked

Do you really answer at 2am?
Yes. A live dispatcher sends your call straight to the on-call Anthem crew. No voicemail, no out-of-state call center.
How fast can you get to Anthem or New River?
Same hour for most of the North Valley. Outlying well-water properties out in Desert Hills and Cave Creek can run a little longer.
What should I do before you arrive?
Shut off the main valve. It's usually at the meter, or where the line comes into the garage. If the water heater's the source, kill the power to it too.
What counts as a real plumbing emergency versus something that can wait?
Water you can't shut off, sewage backing up indoors, no water at all in extreme heat, or a gas smell near a gas appliance. Those are real emergencies, and you call right away. A single drip, a slow drain, or one running toilet can wait for a regular appointment, and that saves you the after-hours rate.
Where is my main water shutoff in a Phoenix slab home?
It's usually at the house wall near the front hose bib, or in the meter box buried out by the curb. The meter-box valve takes a meter key or a crescent wrench to open the lid and turn it. Find yours and test it now, while it's calm, not when you're standing in water.
My pipe is frozen at my Flagstaff cabin, what do I do?
Shut the water main off first, then crack a nearby faucet so the thawing water has somewhere to go and pressure can't build up behind the ice. Thaw it with a hair dryer or some space heat. Never an open flame. Frozen pipes often split and won't show you the leak until they thaw.
Should I shut off the water before you arrive?
Yes. If water's still running or flooding, shut the main and open the lowest faucet in the house to drain the lines. That stops the damage from getting worse, and it's the most useful thing you can do while we're driving to you.
Why do supply lines under my sink and toilet fail so suddenly?
Phoenix hard water eats the connectors and valve seats from the inside, so a line that looked fine lets go all at once when a fitting finally rots through. Out here, flexible connectors usually age out in 5-8 years. Replace them on a schedule and you head off the blowout.
